(I often wondered if he had to use that biblical reference to defend his hair-do, which, if he had not swept up and into a pile of waves, would have violated men’s hair length requirements.) I am not in agreement with the theory of art as THE gift of tongues. Language has its own syntax. But I do believe that the arts are gifts given by the Original Master of the nuances of time, space, line, color, balance, syncopation, projection, choreography, wholes and fractals, etc. To put all our expressive eggs into the controversial basket of tongues is troubling to those of us who make attempts to help Christians embrace their made-in-the-image-of-an-artistGod-creator. When it comes to the arts and Christian universities…”we’ve come a long way baby.” Let’s let apples be apples and oranges be oranges; and not give that crowd another reason to stiffen their no-hair-on-the-collar necks. And God bless that brave prof and all of us who have followed in the wake of his waves! renewedbyGodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07185677909172734287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7779479393303086238.post-55349468853003403422012-09-24T09:52:17.208-07:002012-09-24T09:52:17.208-07:00whoa. i love this. hey, you should blog more often...whoa. i love this. hey, you should blog more often.

miss you two!emily grace [long distance lobsters]https://www.blogger.com/profile/05820053107895112759noreply@blogger.com
